Photography notes 1

Conceptual Art of any kind is a tough one if you don’t have ideas! I can’t possibly imagine a great photograph until I see it in front of me. Watching and waiting are the skills needed. I suppose also that the photographs I’ve been learning from over the years (Cartier-Bresson, Elliott Erwitt etc.) are giving me rough templates to work from. Perhaps I respond to both the people and situations I see and the library of images (photographs) in my head.
